Record Statuses

Abstract

Within strokeone, heavy usage is made of traffic light visualisation to provide a clear visual indication of the status of a particular record, process or task.

Using this methodology, managers and other users can:-

Quickly establish the current status of the tasks that have been assigned to them.
Quickly establish the current status of the processes that they are responsible for..
Establish the status of processes that are pre-requisites to the task/process that they wish to undertake..

General Statuses

The following traffic light methodology and attendant statuses are commonly used within strokeone

Icon	Type	Meaning
	Red Icon	Process has not started.
	Amber	Process is in progress
	Green	Process Completed.
Note: for certain record types, Amber is not used as the status represents a binary state.

Note: Differing departments utilise a variant of the above methodology, and may have more or differing coloured statuses to visually represent which particular stage a data item is in its processing life-cycle.
