Creating Position Values
Overview
Values added here are selectable when selecting positions associated
with a process
line on job order. They are unique per department.

This topic outlines the steps necessary to create
department position values that can be used within process lines strokeone.
Prerequisites
Ensure that you have logged
onto strokeone,
and that you can see and access the Settings
button in strokeone's
home
banner.
Procedure
- From the home
banner, click the Settings
and then System Preferences
buttons.
- In the Preferences layout,
ensure you click the Production
tab(1), and from within that,
the Position (2)tab.

- The Positions tab shows
the position values that exist per
department.
- To create a new position value
for a department, click on the new
record icon, which will cause a new record to be inserted.

- Populate the following:-
- Select the Department
from the drop-down list.
- In Position, enter the text description for the position value
- e.g. left sleeve.

- Once populated, the position value is available for selection for
the department when adding
process lines to a job order.
