How to Create a Training Task

About this Task

This topic outlines the steps necessary to accurately create a Training Task record in strokeone.

Background

A training task is a set of instructions that relate to a particular function or working practice. See Understanding the Training Programme for more information.
In turn, a set of training tasks gets grouped together and associated to a Training Module.

 

Prerequisites

Ensure that are in the training tasks list view

 

Procedure

  1. Click the new record icon to the right of the screen.
  2. A new (blank) Training Task record is inserted.

  3. Populate the data fields as follows:-

    Field

    Instructions

    Documents

    A toggle field to indicate whether the training task record has documented procedures / instructions
    Defaults as red

    Sign Off

    A toggle field to indicate whether the content of the training task record has been signed off
    Defaults as red

    Check List

    A toggle field to indicate whether the training task record has a checklist.
    Defaults as red

    Task Reference Number

    Automatically inserted. A system generated reference number for the training task record.

    Creation Date

    Automatically inserted. The time stamp of when the training task

    Task

    Update from New Task to the Title of the Task

    Description

    A brief description of what the task refers to


  1. Click the Department button.
  2. In the Department pop-up, set the checkbox(es) for the department(s)  to which the task applies.
    TBC: - what does Done do ???

  3. Next you must associate the necessary training material to the training task record.
