Training is at the core of the Strokeone Software Limited's philosophy and the FileMaker system contains an efficient placeholder for content which all staff can reference and use to undertake their daily tasks in an efficient manner with minimal error.
Training should also be employed to maintain, upgrade and update skills throughout an employee's working life.
At Strokeone Software Limited we have developed a comprehensive database consisting of grades/modules/tasks related to all of the jobs undertaken in each specific department.
It is every manager’s responsibility to contribute to the development of these training tasks and to ensure staff under their charge are “trained in” and “administer” their duties and working practices accordingly.
The modules themselves are also set up in a way where financial rewards can be attached to them which, in the future, will aid to incentivise staff to apply themselves to the acquisition of the knowledge required and thus empower them to do their job. See Understanding Relationship Between Training Modules and Pay for more information.

Training Modules are created in the system, and once created, they have one or more Training Tasks associated to them. Training Modules, do not necessarily have to be composed of a set number of Training Tasks. They are granular in this respect, and can vary in their composition depending on the complexity or skill level required to complete the Module.
Training Modules can be viewed within the system.
A Training Module can have a monetary value. Meaning that a staff member who successfully completes the training module may be eligible to increase their pay by the monetary value of the module.
Training Modules are assigned to Staff Members. A Training Module which has been assigned to a Staff Member is known as a Staff Module |
