For certain stock line items, you may wish to maintain a minimum stock level holding. You are able to define this in strokeone per stock line item.
Additionally, functionality exists in strokeone to identify when these minimum stock holding levels have been breached, so that you can take appropriate remedial action.
This topic will instruct you how to identify shortfalls of stock from the Stock Items list screen.
For this topic it is assumed that you wish to return shortfalls of products for a specific type.
However, you could alter the search in step 3) by removing the product type value to identify a shortfall of any stock list item.
Ensure that you have logged onto strokeone, and that you can see and access the Goods In button in strokeone home banner.
Enter the following search criteria in the corresponding field headers.
Product Type: Select the type of product you are interested in
Available above the minimum: <0
e.g, to find shortfalls in Purchased Screen Ink:-

and process the find.
The layout will populate with the corresponding stock item records per the search criteria in step 3)
In this case, any Purchased Screen Ink stock line items where the Available above minimum field is negative.

When the Available above Minimum field is negative, it indicates that the current available level of the stock line item is below the minimum stock holding level defined for it.
This is typically a trigger to take action.
The field is colour coded to help you decide on how to proceed.
If it is coloured amber, it means that although the current available level is below the minimum required there is an expected quantity of the item due in (on one or more purchase orders) that once received will result in the available quantity being above the minimum quantity.
You can click the PO Lines button to see the open purchase orders, and navigate through to them to see the actual order details if needed.
If it is coloured red, it means the current available level is below the minimum required irrespective of any expected amount.
In essence, some form of corrective action is needed in order to restore the stock levels to the minimum stock holding level.
One form of corrective action would be raise an order for the stock line item(s)
