Writing Up a Job Order

Writing up a job order typically consists of the following tasks :-

• Raising a New or Duplicated Job order
• Populating Job Header Fields
• Optionally populating Job Footer Fields
• Adding Process Lines
• Add Scheduling Information for Process Lines
• Associating a Technical spec / artwork placeholder record to a process line
• If required, adding and allocating any peripherals needed for a process line to its technical specification record.
• If possible, populate the components of the technical specification record associated to each process line
• if received, store any artwork image media received from a customer on the job order
• If known, recording any ArtWork related charges
• Adding and Populating Garment Sheets
• Allocating Blank Stock on the Garment Sheet and ordering additional stock if needed.
• Writing Up job related Fulfilment(s)
• Sending Notification to the Client if insufficient / no fulfilment instructions received.
• Optionally, printing out a Job Process Summary Sheet
• Validating the electronic job order you have created against the customer order.
• Marking the Job as Raised
